From Island Roots to Houston Streets
In 2005, Susan and her husband combined their talents to share the food they grew up loving. With Susan’s business skills and her husband’s skill in the kitchen, they opened a place where curry, jerk chicken, and homemade Jamaican ice cream bring people together. Years later, their cozy spot is still serving fresh meals that carry the warmth of island life to Houston.
Cooking Tradition, Serving Community
Every recipe here starts in Jamaica. Meals are prepared fresh daily, seasoned with care, and inspired by family recipes passed down for generations. From oxtails to curry goat, each dish reflects a love for real Jamaican cooking and a wish to share it with Houston in a welcoming space.
Two Decades of Island Hospitality
For nearly twenty years, we’ve been Houston’s spot for a real taste of Jamaica. What began as a dream between a husband and wife is now a place for locals, travelers, and families to gather. The tropical-inspired setting, outdoor seating, and authentic dishes make every visit feel like a getaway.
